Chiropractic Orthopedics

Our clinic’s focus on diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic ailments stems from our clinical director’s passion and great interest in orthopedics and rehabilitation.  Dr. Pawlusiewicz is a Board certified chiropractic orthopedist, who has dedicated his career to non-invasive treatment of orthopedic, sports, and post-trauma injuries.  Orthopedics does not have to mean surgery; in fact over 90% of all orthopedic cases we see are never treated surgically.  That is mostly due to the remarkable ability of our body to heal itself.

Board certified chiropractic orthopedists have completed extensive postdoctoral education in non-surgical orthopedics, and have passed rigorous specialty Board examinations leading to Diplomate status as a chiropractic orthopedist. Less than 2% of chiropractic physicians attain this status.

The designation of Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists recognizes board certified chiropractic orthopedists who are active members of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists.  Fellows of the Academy have distinguished themselves among their colleagues through advanced training and high levels of clinical excellence.  They are committed to the specialty of Chiropractic Orthopedics and their communities through their dedication to ongoing research, continuing education and improved clinical outcomes.

The title of Fellow was established in 1980 by the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists as a means for recognition of those members who have demonstrated a dedication to the established goals and ideals of the Academy.  Fellows are committed to the advancement of Chiropractic Orthopedics as a non-operative alternative to surgical orthopedic healthcare relative to treatment of disorders of the human spine and extremities.
